What the NES shelf holds
24 titles covered
Every title on the NES that earned a place in the canon, 2 in the Top 10, 3 in the Top 25 and 5 in the Top 100. The list is read from the catalogue at request time, so it is the real count rather than a number somebody typed once.
1980 to 1991
The span the catalogue actually holds on the NES, first release to last. Hardware from Nintendo.
Series covered end to end
Including Mega Man (3), Castlevania (2), Mario Bros. (2) and The Legend of Zelda (2). Sibling titles link to each other, so a code that carried across a series is easy to follow.
Codes with their receipts
Cheat codes, glitches, easter eggs and design oversights, each one carrying the source it was verified against. Where a claim is community-reported rather than confirmed, the page says so.
